Operatic Baddies

Almost every opera has its baddy, some nastier than others, some genuine monsters and some quite loveable rogues. To make them human and believable, composers have to give them some qualities we can identify with. This talk takes a sample of baddies and the music they have been given. Often enough, the devil does get the best tunes!
